Whitney, Founder of The Trey Whitfield School, Ms. Sheron Joseph, Ms. Emily Jackson, Ms. Iris Griffith, Ms. Auguste St. Eloi, Ms. Ava Bradshaw, Ms. Veronica Jordan and Mr. A.B. Whitfield. Ms Bradshaw, from Guyana, was the first teacher that was hired when the school opened in 1983, with an enrollment of a surprising 283 students. Jordon and Griffith are also from Guyana while Eloi is from Haiti. Ms. Janie C.
